Duration: 24 hours Classroom contact hours; In addition to this Candidates would have project work which would take approximately 30 hours to complete over the 4 weeks.

Requirements to attend course:  Candidates must have completed their Basic Security Training, have good pc skills, good communication skills and commitment to the programme.

Assessment Section A 40% Research Assignment (900-1000 words), the candidate will complete

A written assignment based on one of the units, appendix B indicates Some guideline subject matter.

Section B 30% Maintain a workplace diary for at least four consecutive shifts.

Section C 30% Demonstrate skills of problem solving, leadership, communications etc. on at least 3 occasions.
Evidence may be through role play or From actual activities in the workplace
